Valmont Industries assesses 3,200m of stormwater network with Pensar

The customer, Valmont Industries, faced a challenge with a failing stormwater system at its Carole Park site that required a full assessment to understand necessary upgrades. With no existing utility information available, Valmont enlisted the vendor, Pensar, to conduct a comprehensive Quality Level B investigation of the network.

Pensar built the utility model from scratch, employing techniques including 3D GPR scanning and a drone survey. The solution involved inspecting over 70 pits and manholes and rodding, locating, and scanning more than 3,200 meters of stormwater pipe. Pensar successfully completed a full capacity and blockage assessment, providing Valmont Industries with the critical data needed for the site's upgrade requirements.
