Urban Utilities rehabilitates 2 reservoirs in 7 months with Pensar

Urban Utilities faced the challenge of rehabilitating two reservoirs, including replacing a structurally unsound roof that was unsafe to access, all under significant time pressure from the community and local council. Pensar was engaged to complete this critical infrastructure rehabilitation project.

Pensar executed the solution by using an elevated work platform to safely demolish the unsafe roof without personnel walking on it and designed a new, long-lasting aluminium and stainless steel supporting structure. The successful project repaired significant leaks, improved water supply, and established a strong working relationship that resulted in Urban Utilities awarding Pensar additional reservoir works. Pensar also identified recycling opportunities that provided both environmental and commercial benefits.
