Urban Utilities completes a 9-meter deep wet well and 11km rising main with Pensar

Urban Utilities faced a challenge with an insufficient sewage network for its expanding population in Plainland, requiring all waste to be trucked out. Partnering with Pensar, the utility embarked on a project to construct a new wastewater pump station and pipeline to address this issue.

Pensar constructed a new 9-meter deep wet well and 11km of pipeline, overcoming significant challenges like difficult ground conditions and working near live infrastructure. Through close collaboration with designers to amend the construction methodology, Pensar successfully delivered the project with zero safety or environmental incidents, integrating the new works into the live network.
