Turrisi/Ausbuild completes 1,500m sewer works and 300m HDD in Pallara with Pensar

Pensar was engaged by Turrisi/Ausbuild to construct a pump station and trunk sewer mains for a new residential development in Pallara. The project faced significant challenges, including an 11-meter deep excavation near a stormwater drain, navigating site access across multiple private properties, and connecting to the existing live sewer network without causing contamination or disruptions.

Pensar successfully designed and constructed the sewer infrastructure, which included a large pump station and over 1500 meters of pipework. Their innovative approach, including a custom manhole deck system, expedited the work. The project was completed within the developer's required timeframe with no defects, safety breaches, or environmental contamination, eliminating the need for temporary tankering.
