Pensar implemented a solution that involved meticulous front-end procurement and logistics management to coordinate the barge transport of all materials from Cairns. Despite the project beginning at the onset of COVID-19 lockdowns, Pensar proved its competency by suggesting safe work controls, getting approval to continue, and adapting procedures like completing quality assurance testing via video. As a result, Pensar delivered the project six weeks ahead of schedule while building positive relationships with the local community.
