Toowoomba Regional Council minimizes downtime with Pensar in a 10-month Cressbrook Dam upgrade

Toowoomba Regional Council engaged Pensar to replace aging equipment at their Cressbrook Dam C1 Pumping Station. The challenge was to upgrade the infrastructure to improve reliability and extend its service life while ensuring the station remained operable to provide a reliable water supply throughout the project.

Pensar delivered a complete in-house design and construct solution, which included new LV and HV power system switchboards, a new transformer, and PLC and SCADA control systems. Despite challenges like a remote site and global supply chain issues, Pensar successfully completed the project with minimal downtime to water operations, reduced flood damage risk, and maintained a positive client relationship throughout.
