SunWater completes Woongarra Pump Station upgrade in 13 months with Pensar

The customer, SunWater, faced the challenge of upgrading the outdated electrical systems at its Woongarra Pump Station to meet current technological standards. The vendor, Pensar, was engaged to supply and install new HV switchboard, LV MCC, PLC, and SCADA systems while retaining the site's existing pumps and motors.

Pensar successfully implemented the solution despite a tight schedule and the challenges of working with dated equipment. The result was a completely integrated system that was completed with minimal interruption to the water supply for the Bundaberg farming community. Pensar achieved this by working closely with SunWater and other partners to complete the design and installation within the demanding program.
