SunWater completes pipeline enhancements in 4 months with Pensar

The customer, SunWater, required enhancements to its Kenya to Chinchilla Weir Pipeline, which operates around the clock, presenting a challenge to complete work with minimal disruption. Vendor Pensar was engaged to deliver HV and LV electrical installation, control system development, and steel fabrication on an accelerated program.

Pensar successfully executed the project in a remote location, working closely with diverse stakeholders to deliver the work on time and within budget. The solution included manufacturing HV termination boxes and fabricating stainless steel support structures. Pensar also trialed acquiring data from a remote flowmeter via the GPRS network, achieving its high standards of workmanship with no disruption to pipeline operations.
