Seqwater delivers a 3.6m raw water pump station with Pensar

Seqwater required the construction of a new raw water pump station at a challenging site near the Logan River, which was highly sensitive to flooding and had difficult ground conditions. Pensar was engaged to deliver the mechanical, civil, and electrical construction and commissioning of the new intake structure to ensure a continuous raw water supply.

Pensar successfully constructed the new concrete pump station using caisson methodology and completed the mechanical and electrical fit-out despite encountering unforeseen obstacles. The project was finished on program, with the vendor receiving positive feedback from Seqwater on the quality of the work and the collaborative, problem-solving approach taken throughout.
