SeaLink upgrades Redland Bay Ferry Terminal in 16 months with Pensar

SeaLink required an upgrade to its Redland Bay Vehicle Ferry Terminal to accommodate a new fleet of ferries. The challenge involved complex marine and shore-based construction within a live operational terminal, while also coordinating the project timeline with the delayed delivery of the new vessels. Pensar was engaged to design and deliver this critical infrastructure upgrade.

Pensar implemented a two-stage construction solution that included extensive marine works like dredging and piling, as well as shore works such as underground service upgrades and new building construction. Despite the challenges, Pensar successfully delivered the new terminal with zero safety, environmental, or quality incidents, enabling the seamless transition of all vehicle traffic to the new facility.
