City of Gold Coast delivers 10km recycled water pipeline with Pensar

The City of Gold Coast faced the challenge of upgrading and expanding its recycled water network to ensure future water security for community green spaces. They engaged the vendor Pensar to deliver Stage 1 of this complex project, which required installing a new pipeline while navigating existing services, strict groundwater management, and working within major transport corridors.

Pensar successfully implemented the solution by installing 10km of HDPE recycled water main using various techniques, including open trench and horizontal directional drilling. The vendor provided collaborative design feedback to minimize construction risks and successfully delivered the complex pipe installation in a hazardous area, resulting in a new climate-resilient and reliable Class A recycled water supply for the city.
