Central Highlands Regional Council delivers Park Avenue chlorination upgrade on schedule with Pensar

The Central Highlands Regional Council required an upgrade to their chlorination system at the Park Avenue treatment plant to increase its capacity and improve reliability. The project, delivered by Pensar, involved significant civil construction and the installation of new dosing equipment amidst challenges including unsuitable ground conditions and significant weather delays.

Pensar implemented a multidisciplinary solution, coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to construct a new contact tank, building, and associated infrastructure. Despite the challenges, Pensar delivered the project on schedule with zero lost time or medical treatment incidents, all while maintaining the continual operation of the existing plant. The solution included additional out-of-scope works and was achieved through clear communication and collaboration between the vendor's internal teams.
