Central Coast Council upgrades Forresters Beach WPS in 10 months with Pensar

Pensar was engaged by Central Coast Council to address the challenge of replacing an ageing water booster station in Forresters Beach. The project was complicated by difficult ground conditions, as the site was located in a flood-prone area where moisture retention was worsened by heavy rain and leaks from existing infrastructure.

The solution designed and constructed by Pensar included a new precast concrete panel water pump station on a piled foundation. Despite the challenges, Pensar successfully performed multiple live main cut-ins with zero issues, including DN300mm live tapings, and commissioned the upgraded station. They also designed and implemented a completely new gas chlorine dosing system for the council.
