Banana Shire Council completed clarifier refurbishment 1 month early with Pensar

The Banana Shire Council faced a challenge with badly degraded tube settlers in the primary clarifiers at its water treatment plant in Moura, which severely impacted the plant's overall performance. The council engaged infrastructure solutions provider Pensar to undertake a complete refurbishment of the clarifier and replace the tube settlers.

Pensar successfully executed the project by stripping out the old equipment, repairing the concrete structure, and installing a new, specially shaped frame and tube settlers. Despite challenges with space, remote logistics, and access, Pensar's innovative techniques and effective teamwork allowed the project to be completed a full month ahead of schedule. The vendor received positive feedback from the Banana Shire Council for the work.
