TIBCO Software, a California-based global software and services company, needed help building consistent compensation and benefits programs across 24 countries and more than 4,300 employees. The company brought in The Pendolino Group for compensation and benefits consulting, including sales compensation, variable incentive compensation, global rewards, benefits programs, and merger/acquisition integration.
The Pendolino Group developed a strategic Global Total Rewards framework and implemented global jobs structures, job descriptions, leveling criteria, salary and incentive structures, performance management integration, and redesigned variable compensation plans. This included global sales and professional services incentive plans for 1,800 employees, helping TIBCO align pay programs with business strategy, support the integration of acquired businesses, and ultimately aid its integration by VISTA Partners.
