Lindström Group cuts fresh water use to 2.87 litres/kg with Pellerin Milnor Corporation

The customer, Lindström Group, faced the challenge of meeting its stringent sustainable development objectives, which required significantly reducing water consumption while maintaining high washing quality for its textile rental business. To achieve these environmental goals, they partnered with vendor Pellerin Milnor Corporation to implement a Milnor PulseFlow PBW tunnel washer at their Comforta Tampere laundry facility.

Pellerin Milnor Corporation's solution involved installing a 10-module PulseFlow tunnel washer, which utilizes revolutionary PulseFlow Technology to minimize fresh water and energy use. The results were highly successful, with the laundry achieving a fresh water consumption of just 2.87 liters per kilogram, well below the target of 3.5 liters. This allowed Lindström to increase production while meeting its sustainability objectives and maintaining excellent wash quality.
