Sydney Metro, Australia’s biggest public transport project, needed a better way to manage growing Dial Before You Dig enquiries as its network expanded across numerous New South Wales locations. PelicanCorp implemented TicketAccess to automatically respond to DBYD enquiries affecting Sydney Metro’s area of interest, reducing manual workload and helping the team focus on more complex requests. The solution improved workflow efficiency, eliminated manual response efforts, and supported ongoing protection of a 66 km asset network handling more than 250 monthly DBYD requests, while avoiding the need to resource an extra staff member.
