T-Mobile Arena, a 20,000‑capacity venue on the Las Vegas Strip, needed an end-to-end, cost‑effective video surveillance solution that delivered high image quality in challenging lighting, broad coverage and easy integration with building systems. T‑Mobile Arena selected Pelco (Pelco by Schneider Electric) and deployed Pelco IP cameras and the VideoXpert video management system to meet those requirements.
Pelco implemented a mix of about 250 Sarix fixed, Spectra PTZ and Optera panoramic cameras plus VideoXpert VMS with storage pools (up to six servers and three months’ retention), managed by a 14‑person security team across six 55‑inch operator displays. The Pelco solution delivered 360° coverage, superior low‑light/WDR imaging, fast 30 fps review and reliable storage, resulting in lower staffing needs, fewer false liability claims, improved customer service and measurable operational cost savings.
