Hard Rock Las Vegas Migrates to IP Video Surveillance With Pelco Surveillance Solution

Hard Rock Las Vegas, a high‑traffic resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, needed to modernize its extensive 24/7 surveillance system to IP while staying fully operational, meeting budget and training constraints, and ensuring scalability. The property chose Pelco for the upgrade, aiming to move from legacy analog cameras to Pelco’s IP and video management solutions.

With systems integrator ECI Systems, Hard Rock Las Vegas replaced 300 legacy analog cameras with Pelco Sarix™ Series IP cameras (Sarix Enhanced IME 219 and IME 229) and migrated to Pelco’s VideoXpert™ VMS; Endura encoders eased the transition by supporting existing analog components and enabling one‑to‑one mapping. The migration preserved all operator names, roles, permissions and camera configurations, was completed smoothly and within budget, improved operator usability and training time, and left the surveillance team planning a full propertywide rollout and further VideoXpert integrations.
