Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center Successfully Migrates to Pelco’s VideoXpert Enterprise VMS

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center in Yekaterinburg, Russia, is a public cultural and educational complex that houses the Boris Yeltsin Museum and hosts lectures, concerts and exhibitions. As the site expanded to more than 500 cameras, its legacy DigitalSentry VMS could not support advanced analytics and biometric identification needs, so the Center partnered with Pelco to adopt Pelco’s VideoXpert Enterprise VMS (integrated with the Id‑Me biometric platform).

Pelco migrated the Center to VideoXpert Enterprise 3.1 (partly deployed on virtual machines) and integrated biometric identification and analytics, enabling automatic identification, intelligent search, stop/VIP lists and visitor demographics. The Pelco solution delivered real‑time identification across 500+ cameras, significantly decreased suspect identification times that previously took more than a week, improved security response and provided actionable audience data to enhance visitor interaction and services.
