Cēsu Alus, a traditional Latvian beverage producer with over 250 employees, sought to promote a positive work environment and feedback culture based on its core company values across its distributed workforce. To address this challenge, they partnered with the vendor Peero and began using its employee recognition platform in 2020.
The solution from Peero provided a system for employees to express virtual gratitude. Cēsu Alus enhanced this with a motivational program, awarding "Beer coins" for recognitions and creating annual awards for value ambassadors. The implementation was highly successful; by 2022, employee recognitions reached nearly 18,500, averaging 50 thank-yous per workday. Peero became deeply embedded in the company's daily culture, from onboarding new hires to its annual award ceremonies.
