A Peerless-AV Case Study
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) needed a scalable, serviceable video wall to monitor roughly 750 statewide traffic cameras in a new Traffic Management Center. With budget limits and a requirement for individual 46" displays (not a monolithic wall) arranged in three sections with canted sides, WSDOT selected Peerless-AV and its SmartMount® video wall mounts (including the DS-VW765-LAND) to meet their design, serviceability, and alignment needs.
Peerless-AV mounts were used to install over ninety NEC 46" displays in Phase 1 and a 3x4 amplified center wall in Phase 2 (driven by a Barco processor), with 106 DS-VW765-LAND mounts plus additional mount types deployed in total. Peerless-AV’s eight-point micro-adjustments, quick-release service features, and modular cable management delivered clean seams, easy installation and maintenance, and the ability to rapidly enlarge and share critical camera feeds—improving situational awareness, decision speed, and in-house serviceability for WSDOT.
