Peerless-AV Projects Future of Education Technology with Facebook Contest

Ludlow High School was grappling with low student engagement and limited classroom technology adoption when Peerless-AV ran a Facebook giveaway to support teachers. Peerless-AV awarded its Wireless Short Throw Projector AV System (including an NEC UM300W short-throw projector) to Ludlow teacher Kristen Goodpaster to help deliver more dynamic, multisensory lessons.

Peerless-AV’s system — a projector mount with a built-in wireless receiver and 50-watt audio amplifier that streams Full HD 1080p content wirelessly up to 131 feet from multiple devices — was used to show presentations, videos and interactive games with clear audio via a built-in microphone. The contest drew 27 teacher entries, and at Ludlow the new Peerless-AV system produced “dramatic” improvements in student retention and engagement, supporting the school’s goals around college and job-readiness.
