A Peerless-AV Case Study
Large Government Agency faced wayfinding challenges at its Washington, D.C. facility—12 floors and 8,000 rooms—where static signage became outdated during ongoing renovations. The agency required a cost‑effective, ADA- and Section 508‑compliant digital solution that could be updated without service disruption. Peerless-AV supplied its Landscape Kiosk Enclosure (KIL555‑S) as part of a bundled interactive wayfinding system alongside 22MILES software and Elo touch displays to meet those requirements.
Peerless-AV’s pre‑assembled kiosks were installed at the building’s three main entrances with on-site support and engineering guidance, completing installation in less than a week; five days after go‑live the agency requested additional units. The solution enabled dynamic 3D wayfinding updates, wheelchair‑accessible routes, directional audio and text‑to‑speech, eliminated recurring printing and labor costs, and provided analytics on user interactions—delivering faster navigation, ongoing cost savings, and easy maintenance for the Large Government Agency.
