Eastgate CCTV Control Centre in Glasgow was created to centralize monitoring for major events and citywide safety, featuring a main 12x2 video wall and links to over 500 cameras. SSUK was commissioned to design, supply and install 16 video walls (82 x 55" screens) but faced a tight four-week onsite schedule, a full building refurbishment and an open-plan layout with glass partitions that prevented wall-mounting — so SSUK partnered with Peerless-AV to address these constraints.

Peerless-AV specified and supplied floor stands with ground-level adaptor plates, integrated cable management and tool-less fine adjustment, enabling SSUK to begin installation immediately and align displays quickly. The solution allowed the 82 screens and 16 video walls (including the 24-screen main array) to be installed on schedule, deliver seamless arrays with concealed connectivity, and exceed the client’s expectations while bringing the city’s 500+ camera feeds into a single control hub.
