Minnesota Valley Irrigation Improves Dispatching and Response Times

Minnesota Valley Irrigation (MVI), a 50‑year provider of center‑pivot irrigation across Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota, needed to track vehicles and equipment to verify worker locations, reduce labor costs and stop asset misplacement. After seven years with another GPS provider and ongoing dropouts and poor service, MVI selected Pedigree Technologies’ OneView® fleet and asset‑tracking solution.

Pedigree Technologies deployed OneView® to track 27 assets (up from 21 on the prior system) at nearly the same cost, giving MVI real‑time location data for DOT mileage reporting, improved dispatching and faster response times. The system eliminated lost equipment incidents, reduced labor and fuel costs, increased trips per day, and saves staff roughly an hour a day on average (10 minutes to 4 hours per event), delivering clear efficiency and accountability gains.
