General Equipment and Supplies, a Fargo-based heavy construction equipment sales, rental, and service company, was losing time and money to manual processes and poor asset visibility: more than 100 hours per month spent on IFTA paperwork, difficulty tracking equipment across a large service area, and trouble locating technicians among 40+ field staff. Pedigree Technologies implemented OneView to automate IFTA reporting, track vehicles and technicians, and dispatch the nearest resources with optimized GPS routing. The results: automated IFTA saved 50 hours/week (about $48,000/year), technician utilization rose from 70% to 92% (a 22% increase adding roughly $30,000/month), 12 unnecessary branch-to-branch trips were eliminated monthly, and customer retention improved by 20%, with faster response and routing overall.
