General Equipment and Supplies, a Fargo-based heavy construction equipment sales, rental, and service company, was losing time and money to manual processes and poor asset visibility: more than 100 hours per month spent on IFTA paperwork, difficulty tracking equipment across a large service area, and trouble locating technicians among 40+ field staff. To address these challenges they engaged Pedigree Technologies and its OneView platform (including Fleet Manager, Dispatching to mobile in‑cab, Maintenance Manager and ELD Chrome).
Pedigree Technologies implemented OneView to automate IFTA reporting, track vehicles and technicians, and dispatch the nearest resources with optimized GPS routing. The results: automated IFTA saved 50 hours/week (about $48,000/year), technician utilization rose from 70% to 92% (a 22% increase adding roughly $30,000/month), 12 unnecessary branch-to-branch trips were eliminated monthly, and customer retention improved by 20%, with faster response and routing overall.
