Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), a regional public transit agency, had to reevaluate its executive structure after its CFO retired. This created a challenge, as they needed to fill a newly created executive vice president of administration role requiring a unique and broad skillset to oversee multiple departments. To ensure they found the best candidate from a wide national talent pool, they hired the executive search firm Pearson Partners International.
Pearson Partners led a rigorous national search, evaluating hundreds of candidates to refresh the talent pool beyond DART's existing network. Their process, which included creating a custom interview guide, resulted in the hiring of a highly qualified internal candidate, Nicole Fontayne-Bárdowell.
