Unisys is a global information-technology company with more than 20,000 employees serving commercial and government clients worldwide. With over 60% of staff working outside the U.S. as non‑native English speakers, many lacked confidence communicating in meetings, emails and calls—limiting participation and productivity—so Unisys University set out to improve employees’ workplace English and collaboration skills.

Unisys adopted Pearson English Business Solutions’ ONE Standard, scaling it from call‑center agents to project managers and senior leaders with content for speaking, writing, meetings and cultural briefings. Results were strong: 93% of users said their English improved, 84% report clearer understanding of documents and emails, 61–64% increased meeting participation, 72–73% write more effective emails, 95% were very satisfied, and users saved an average 2.4 hours per week (projected ~26,912 person‑days saved annually).
