Merit Medical turned to PeakLogix as heavy growth strained its storage capacity and exposed limits in its paper-based order picking process. The company needed to double daily pick-and-ship volume while maintaining staffing levels, improving efficiency, and preparing for future expansion.

PeakLogix implemented a solution that replaced single-order paper picking with batch picking and voice pick technology, added narrow aisle racking with wire guidance, a put wall, print-and-apply labeling, and accumulation conveyor systems integrated with Merit Medical’s existing Oracle WMS via RDS software from Numina Group. The result was 500 picks per day, 2x volume with a reduced workforce, lower overtime and operating costs, and about $100K in annual freight savings, all with minimal disruption to operations.
