Global Distribution Center, a medical device manufacturer, partnered with PeakLogix when its 500,000 sq. ft. distribution center was running out of space and it wasn’t ready to fund a $7M expansion. The company needed a way to increase storage and improve efficiency without disrupting production areas or normal operations.

PeakLogix implemented vertical storage, a smart conveyor system, and a reconfigured warehouse layout with pick modules, pallet flow, and print-and-apply automation. The project increased vertical space utilization from 6 feet to nearly 30 feet, added 1,800 pallet positions in Phase I, cut error rates by 50%, boosted productivity by 47%, reduced labor costs by 33%, and enabled 25% more cases shipped per shift with six fewer people.
