CBRE Hampton Roads needed to help a tenant consolidate warehouse operations to support the market’s largest industrial lease. The regional shipbuilder required more than 515,000 square feet of storage for growing materials inventory, along with a warehouse slab that could handle specialized storage and heavy product loads. PeakLogix was brought in to provide an industrial racking solution tailored to these needs.

PeakLogix designed and implemented a turnkey selective rack system across two 250,000+ square foot buildings, with 4-level bays rated at 3,000 pounds per pallet and 6,000 pounds per beam level. The installation included 1,140 bays in one building and 1,250 in the other, enabling the shipbuilder to centralize logistics, buy parts in bulk, reduce handoffs and infrastructure costs, and support future growth over a 12-year lease.
