Latvian School of Public Administration trains 30 civil servants in 6 months with PDR

The Latvian School of Public Administration, a government institution, sought to equip its senior civil servants with service design skills as part of a national policy. To fulfill this ambition, the school commissioned PDR to provide a "Public Service Design - Train-the-Trainer" programme, aiming to embed design thinking into the daily work of public sector staff.

PDR implemented a six-month training program featuring four immersive workshops and remote mentoring. The solution focused on experiential learning, enabling thirty participants to master and then facilitate design processes. As a result, PDR helped create a cohort of design ambassadors who now confidently lead design projects within their respective government institutions, effectively disseminating their new skills.
