A PDR Case Study
Golden Pass LNG, an energy company transitioning its business model from importing to exporting liquified natural gas, faced the challenge of attracting top talent and enhancing its company culture within a new Houston headquarters. Their previous workplace lacked natural light, collaboration spaces, and a strong brand identity. They engaged design and architecture firm PDR to create a new office environment that would promote agility, innovation, and cohesion.
PDR designed a 40,000-square-foot office that incorporated Q’atari cultural design elements to welcome shareholders and create a powerful impression. The solution organized separate work groups around a central break room for gatherings and included a variety of collaboration spaces. By utilizing glass partitions and open areas near windows, the design provided access to natural light for all employees. PDR's thorough process allowed Golden Pass LNG to move into the new office without disrupting business, successfully creating an open, family-like atmosphere that encouraged teamwork.
