ExxonMobil Technology Center faced the challenge of creating a sustainable and energy-efficient 21st-century campus for 10,000 employees that would inspire creativity and collaboration across its vast 385-acre site. PDR provided a unique approach through its integrated service of design and architecture, along with brand consulting and program management, to help shape a strategy that would meet the company's business goals and values.

PDR collaborated with design firm Pickard Chilton to act as the interior architect, developing a macro campus program and a conceptual master plan. The solution organized hundreds of programmatic requirements into a 3D grid plan, creating a network of integrated, high-performance building systems designed to empower both individual focus and collective teamwork. The result was the successful delivery of a 3-million-square-foot campus hub in Spring, TX, that caters to the needs of all employees, from one person to a team of 10,000.
