Dominion Energy pilots one-floor workplace in Richmond with PDR

Dominion Energy, a public utility company, faced the challenge of designing an effective workplace to help attract and retain talent, achieve long-term goals, and support the revitalization of downtown Richmond. They engaged the vendor PDR, utilizing their service design and architecture, brand consulting, and a suite of consulting services including portfolio planning and change management, as part of a multi-disciplinary master plan process.

PDR designed and built a Workplace Pilot for Dominion to test a variety of design solutions. This living lab integrated flexible design, technology access, and spaces for collaboration and wellness. The pilot provided Dominion with valuable data, metrics, and feedback that were used to inform the design decisions for their new downtown Richmond towers.
