Worcestershire County Council launches Simply Careers prototype with PDMS for 6 districts

Worcestershire County Council sought an innovative way to engage local students and inspire them to learn about career opportunities within the region. To achieve this, they partnered with PDMS to develop an interactive digital board game, 'Simply Careers', which would deliver career pathway information in an engaging format.

PDMS developed a working prototype for the 'Simply Careers' game using an Umbraco CMS and Angular front-end, creating an interactive experience where students navigate a map based on the local M5 motorway. The solution is now in live trials, with positive feedback on its potential to educate students about local career possibilities, and future development phases are planned to include progress tracking features.
