TOTAL Deutschland, headquartered in Berlin and operating in crude refining, faced a high volume of resource-intensive paperwork within its sophisticated distribution system. TOTAL Deutschland worked with PDI Software and used PDI TransPac to address these challenges.
PDI Software implemented map-overlay fleet monitoring and route optimization to improve dispatch and delivery operations. As a result, TOTAL Deutschland’s dispatchers could track trucks in real time, provide accurate route guidance, and better navigate complex roadways to serve more than 1,200 petrol stations daily. The solution increased automation efficiency, reduced manual paperwork, and improved internal and external communications, enabling more deliveries through efficiency gains.
