Holiday Stationstores, a convenience retail chain with 500+ locations based in Bloomington, MN, worked with PDI Software and its PDI Enterprise solution to address major inventory and accounting challenges. The company needed to move beyond “gut-feel” ordering, reduce spoilage and inventory loss, improve fuel inventory tracking, and eliminate the manual process used to calculate fuel margin each month.

PDI Software implemented PDI Enterprise to support historical-sales-based ordering, predictive ordering, automated BOL/matching reconciliation, and improved accounting reporting and sales analysis. The results included a $100K improvement to the bottom line, a 10% reduction in spoilage at more than one-third of stores, and savings of 40 hours per month, along with better inventory turnover and more accurate variance tracking.
