ABS Bonifer Group, a petroleum distribution company based in Offenbach, Germany, faced challenges with decentralized tanker truck dispatching operations. The company wanted to reduce paper use, automate and digitize planning and dispatch, and respond more quickly to sales fluctuations at fuel retailing locations. ABS Bonifer used PDI WinDMS to address these needs.

PDI implemented a digitized and automated delivery operation with real-time information, improved daily visibility, and more efficient driver allocation. As a result, ABS Bonifer increased the number of fuel stations supplied by three times and dispatchers were able to plan three times as many vehicles per shift, while also reducing mileage and avoiding retains and runouts.
