Construction Computer Software (CCS) is a long-established provider of estimating and project management software used by more than 19,000 users in 50 countries. CCS added a free quantity take-off add-on to its flagship Candy QTO3 so users could measure materials directly from PDF drawings, but as drawings grew larger and more complex some files loaded slowly, rendered incorrectly or crashed, creating memory issues, support overhead and giving competitors an opening.

After benchmarking several vendors against 190 demanding PDFs, CCS selected the PDFTron SDK for its superior memory efficiency, reliability and fidelity. PDFTron eliminated the loading and memory problems without degrading the user experience, restoring fast, accurate on-screen take-off and enabling future plans (including a WebViewer browser take-off), giving CCS renewed confidence in its PDF handling.
