PDF Web Viewer brings new impetus to shock wave technology

STORZ MEDICAL AG, a Swiss manufacturer of high-quality medical shockwave devices, required PDF viewing software for electronic user manuals that surpassed standard workstation solutions. Their challenge was to improve the quality and availability of these manuals by fully integrating a PDF viewer directly into their proprietary StorM-Touch application, eliminating the need for a separate, costly program. They turned to Pdftools and its PDF Viewer SDK.

Pdftools implemented its 3-Heights® PDF Viewer API, which was fully integrated into the StorM-Touch solution. This allowed documents to be displayed in high quality and controlled directly from the main application, significantly enhancing user-friendliness and availability. The solution from Pdftools provided an easily implementable and cost-effective viewer characterized by high speed and constant runtime behavior.
