Medicproof, a healthcare company in Germany, needed to secure over 130,000 sensitive care reports it produces annually for insurance companies. Pdftools provided its 3-Heights PDF Security tool, which was easily integrated into Medicproof's existing .NET application via a straightforward interface. The solution allowed for PDFs to be encrypted directly in working memory without any interim unencrypted storage, meeting all security requirements. The implementation was a success, with Medicproof reporting that the system has been running stably and reliably for months, sparing them the major effort of building their own system and fulfilling all their expectations for performance and flexibility.
