Cooper & Jackson, founded in 1979, is a trusted supplier of cold‑reduced, hot‑rolled, galvanised, iron‑zinc, electro‑zinc and electrical steel to the construction, automotive, packaging and appliance markets. Known for personalised service and continual investment in plant and processes, the company recognised in 2012 that its legacy IT systems were holding back traceability and operational performance and needed a metal‑specific replacement.

Following a market review they implemented the Windows‑based PCI Prof.IT system, giving traceable slitting and blanking applications, slitting optimisation and real‑time sales, stock and purchase information. The new system enabled Cooper & Jackson to win a major customer who required detailed information they previously could not provide, and it has supported their growth into a fully equipped Steel Processing Centre with over 30 full‑time employees.
