RMC Vanguard Mortgage, an independent Houston-based lender serving customers in more than 25 states, doubled its staff from 45 to 95 during a turbulent mortgage market while helping over 6,000 families. Rapid industry change and high turnover made fast, consistent training critical, but the company’s old shared-server folder system was hard to access—especially for remote workers—and slowed information sharing.

RMC implemented PBworks as a structured, searchable wiki using templates to centralize training, policies, links and documents; underwriters post updates so loan officers always have current guidance. The wiki became the company’s information hub—complete with employee pages and a directory—saving underwriters about 30–45 minutes per day and significantly reducing time spent locating documents, passwords and answers.
