Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) provides assessments, reporting and professional development to help educators tailor each student’s learning path. NWEA needed a single, external-facing collaboration solution to replace fragmented tools (email, Google Docs, Dropbox, VPN) so staff and many non‑employee partners — including remote professional development personnel — could securely share materials and work together.

NWEA chose PBworks after evaluating alternatives, rolling it out gradually and using PBworks’ training to configure workspaces. PBworks centralized sharing, enabled secure contractor submissions, and made it easy to create role-specific workspaces, improving collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
