Industrial Toys - Customer Case Study

Industrial Toys, founded by game veteran Alex Seropian to build mobile games for core gamers, needed a way to keep a distributed team — 15 full‑time staff in Pasadena plus over 50 contractors worldwide — aligned across creative and software development. Prior to PBworks they relied on disparate tools (email, FTP, local servers), which made sharing work‑in‑progress and maintaining a single project vision cumbersome.

They adopted PBworks early (even before hiring their first employee) for its UI, active support and API, and migrated content into a centralized, real‑time “project bible.” The result was clearer onboarding, much better transparency and communication, and a more collaborative design process that speeds sharing, fosters ideas and keeps everyone focused on the same goals — a system Seropian says he can’t imagine working without.
