ACI Worldwide, a global omni‑commerce payments provider, needed to extend functionality in its UP Merchant solution so clients could operate more independently and access the latest payment technologies. To achieve this, ACI Worldwide selected Payworks' payment gateway technology and its RESTful open API for a simple, fast integration.

Payworks implemented its gateway via the RESTful API, enabling ACI to deliver a consistent omni‑commerce experience across channels and devices and giving merchants access to Payworks' extensive global payments network — more than 350 payment methods and acquirers — plus tokenization and PCI‑compliant processing.
