Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, a Louisiana-based full-service restaurant chain known for its Cajun cuisine and Southern roots, needed to quickly adapt its guest engagement strategy when COVID-19 disrupted its March Madness campaign and dine-in business. To support its growth plans, Walk-On’s partnered with **Paytronix Systems** and moved up its digital rollout by launching online ordering and delivery much earlier than planned.
**Paytronix Systems** implemented Order & Delivery, followed by a mobile app, loyalty program, gift cards, and campaign-management tools to help Walk-On’s better engage guests and drive repeat visits. The results were strong: Walk-On’s returned to flat sales by January 2021, online orders averaged $10 more than in-restaurant checks, takeout sales reached 2.5x pre-pandemic levels, and loyalty generated $19K in incremental sales at one location within two weeks of launch.
