National Coney Island, a longtime Paytronix Systems customer, needed a tech-first way to boost online orders in 2021 as many locations were short-staffed. Using Paytronix’s order, delivery, and loyalty platform, the chain looked for a way to make ordering easier and encourage more digital purchases.
Paytronix Systems tested a new app menu built around the most-ordered items and paired it with a $5-off coupon, compared with the classic menu. The change drove strong gains: 19.4% online order lift, 9.8% overall visit lift, 14.1% overall spend lift, plus an estimated extra $300 per store per month and 13 additional orders per store per month, delivering a 27x ROI on the reward cost.
